Lunar New Year Hangover

Well today’s the first day after the three day Lunar New Year holiday. People are still wishing each other, “Kung hei fat choi.” Other than that life is back to normal. Stores are open, taxis are plentiful, offices are filled with workers, the noodle shop down the street is serving lunch again, the ubiquitous red envelopes are all distributed and we can now get back to what us Hong Kongers do best – earn, eat and complain. I enjoyed the holiday and spending four full days with my wife, Pam but I’m also happy to get back into the hurley-burley that is work-a-day Hong Kong.
