My wife, Pam, and I are leaving for Dubai tomorrow and will return Jan. 2. Some good friends moved there from Hong Kong last year and this is our chance to spend some time with them. Pam has wanted to visit Dubai for quite a while. I’ve been dragging my feet. I spent the longest six months of my life in Saudi Arabia and so visiting an Arab and Muslim country to celebrate the biggest Christian holiday was not so appealing. Pam prevailed, however. I want to quickly apologize for my lack of attention to this blog. Since September 22, I’ve been traveling, as any good BootsnAll member is required to do. Unfortunately my laptop is being very uncooperative and cyber access in the U.S. without one’s own wireless computer is hard to find and expensive.
I will return to Hong Kong, Nov. 16th and resume my daily schedule.
